Love

If that soft acoustic melody does not have you smiling, then those full pure vocals will; every time I see an acoustic recording of a song, I know that the lyrics will be gorgeous, but Thompson's are amazing.
Relying only on soft chords to carry the melody, lines like "running free and wild's only meant for kids", "this is the biggest mess that you have ever made", "rushing water's not the same as falling rain", and the repeating "you lie and you tire me out" get their emotion from Thompson's unrestrained vocals and make it impossible to not hit the replay button.
